It's almost impossible sometimes to separate out the wheat from the chaff when it comes to wedding photography- they all seem to offer much the same packages and services, with not much of it making sense... some seem very inexpensive, too...

My prices start at £1600 for six hours photography on the day and everything itemised below- all you need to add are extra hours at £150/hr and any of the other products we can supply. So I've itemised what you'll get from me. It's simple, easy and honest- what you see is what you'll get with no hidden extra costs- just a very comprehensive service with a very big smile. All that changes is the time you need me- minimum 6 hours.

The initial consultation

We'll meet somewhere convenient to talk detail. I'm interviewing you as much as you're deciding if I'm the One, so it's a good time to ask all of those questions you've always wondered about photography- or weddings in general, if you like- I have nothing to hide, so my honesty will seem quite refreshing.

I'll have sample books to show, with whole weddings inside, so you can see what I do on the day(s) of your wedding event. I'll discuss the packages and prices and show you a contract if you are considering booking. If you're not quite ready, I'll keep your date free for up to two weeks after so no-one else can book me.

And if you do book, I'll ask for a non refundable booking fee to secure the date. We'll also book the next stage...

The pre-wedding photo shoot

A chance for you to get used to being photographed and for us to update wedding detail changes... I'll be gentle, and before you realise it, you're enjoying the experience and disappointed when it ends- seriously!

I will give you handy tips on posing and direction and we soon have a good selection of images for me to add to your Signing Book... an A4 hardback filled with photographs of you both in civvies, with lots of space around for comments, thoughts and best wishes from family and friends on the day- and we even provide coloured sharpies for the occasion.

They're ALWAYS popular on the day. I'll bring it along with me- oh, and you'll have a chance to see the images online before I design and print the book to give you the chance to reject any you don't want in the book.

The Big Day

If we haven't already met at your wedding rehearsal, this will be the next time you see me. I'll turn up at the time and place we agreed and I'll work... and work...and work... I love preparation shots, so I'm there early.

I'll visit both camps if possible to get images of the other place to yours- the images you don't normally see, as tradition has it that you don't meet before the ceremony. I'll shoot the group shots we agree to in advance and I'll do it as fast as possible so as not to break the flow of the day- it's useful if you assign someone to rounding up the groups so we're not waiting.

If there's a particular shot of a part of the ceremony, or people special to you, then let me know and I'll make sure they're in the book. I'll generally stay to just after the first dance, unless you ask me to stay longer for any special reason. We talk all this through before the Day.

What we do...

The products

It's normally a couple of weeks after the wedding day that your images are ready to view, either online or somewhere suitable on a computer, tv or other large device.

I show you ALL the edited images that I decide are good enough to be in your Wedding Book, (usually 200-350) and I ask that you let me know which ones you DON'T want in the book. I then design and commission the book and you receive it a few weeks later, together with other copies if you need them- other products are available, from wall and desk portraits to posters and canvasses.

We also take care of any orders your family and friends might need, so you're free to enjoy your newly wedded bliss!
